Yes, the Patrol Bot™ Expert mobile app is completely free to download and use. There are no hidden fees or subscriptions required for basic features.

Yes - Patrol Bot uses end-to-end encryption (E2EE) to protect all communication between the controller (sender) and the device (receiver). This means that all voice data, movement commands, and signaling traffic are encrypted at the source and decrypted only on the Patrol Bot itself - no third party (including our servers) can access the live stream.
We use secure WebRTC protocols for real-time audio communication, along with DTLS-SRTP (Datagram Transport Layer Security - Secure Real-time Transport Protocol) to ensure audio streams remain private and tamper-proof.
Device pairing and control sessions are authenticated using unique QR-code-based keys, which generate a time-limited session token accessible only by the authorized controller. Patrol Bot cannot be accessed by anyone without this encrypted pairing handshake.
We do not store any voice recordings or session data, and all transmissions are transient, encrypted, and non-persistent.
